[My achin' feet....] The night walk was....Kinda boring. All of us went through the route once, then split up into smaller groups to re-walk the route again. I was in the first group to set off, and met a dog at the turn-back point of the route. The dog proceeded to follow us all the way down, and for safety reasons, the 2nd walk was cut short because we feared the dog would encounter some of the other dogs closer to the village and get into a fight with us in the middle. ^^^ by Locksley @ 10:57 AM.

[$9.83] And no, there were no fraudulent charges made to my card. There was, however, a credit of $9.83 from SAF for the time I spent attending the mob briefing. ^^^ by Locksley @ 9:30 AM.

["You were cursed with your soul. I fought for mine."] What if I made an appeal to go to JC instead of Poly? Would I still be in NUS now? I know if I went to JC, I'd not be PES B in NS. They changed the standards a bit when I enlisted. If I enlisted earlier (with my friends who went JC), I'd be in PES C due to my eyesight. Going to Pulau Ubin tomorrow to recce the place for the FOC. Will be spending the night and coming back on Thursday. I haven't had a chance to spend this much time with mosquitos since I ORDed. Lucky me. ^^^ by Locksley @ 10:08 AM.

[Eeeewwww....] Operation Hard Disk has concluded. Haha...Yeah, I know that's kinda lame, but that's how it feels like whenever I have to install a hard disk. Installing it into the system is not too bad, can be finished pretty quick. It's the formatting and installing of OS/applications that I hate. But as of now, I've already re-installed most of my applications and restored my data. I had wanted to get 2 Western Digital 80GB HDs, but they were sold out so I had to settle for Seagate. Just as well....Seagate offers 5 years warranty. I took the picture above yesterday on the bus to SLS. This old man...Well, you can see what he did. Pretty gross. ^^^ by Locksley @ 1:00 PM.

[The time has come...] My hard disks are failing. The last time it happened, both died at the same time. This time, it's the same thing. I wonder why. Anyway, the master disk can still boot up, but may stop spinning anytime in which case I need to reboot it to get it spinning again. I'm going to get 2 new hard disks later, which means I have a long day's work ahead of me. Fdisk, format, install OS, install applications, restore settings....Aragh. ^^^ by Locksley @ 10:38 AM.

[Cheapskate...] First of all, the theatre's upstairs...If you're too cheap to buy the paper, you could always check it out at the theatre. Second of all, considering how expensive movie tickets are nowadays, couldn't you afford the paper if you plan to watch a movie? ^^^ by Locksley @ 8:51 AM.

[Look who's back...Back again...] The last time it happened, it disappeared by itself about a few days. If it doesn't go away by itself...I may have to do something about it. I hate pop-ups. ^^^ by Locksley @ 10:17 AM.

[WTF?] One thing I noticed about the news programmes in Taiwan is that the news they report about are often rather distasteful. They like to shove microphones in the faces of people who're crying, and basically harass them for a story. Just now, there's a story about a woman who underwent plastic surgery which didn't turn out very well. She's lost her ability to talk properly, and when asked questions by the reporter, she could only wail her answers. I don't think anyone can understand what she's wailing about. Honestly, is that really necessary? Do we really want to see this on TV? ^^^ by Locksley @ 7:19 PM.

[My aching body...] Went to PC Show with my friend today. Wasn't much to see, although I did see a girl from my course working there at one of the booths. She's in 2 of my modules, and I always tried to sit behind her in the LT. She looked a bit like Jessica Simpson. We were done in about 1 hour. Talked outside at the food court for about another 2 hours, before I went to Suntec to meet another friend. After dinner, my friend called me from Australia and during our conversation, I ran into a friend from secondary school, whom I haven't seen since graduation, which was 7 years ago. Had to hang up on my friend in Australia and say hi to my school friend. And erm...I've been suspecting for a while that there's a mosquito in my room. Saw it tonight when I got home. And I just got bitten while typing this. I think I'm gonna go take care of it.... ^^^ by Locksley @ 10:51 PM.

[On second thoughts....] First of all, I was very worried that if I didn't do well I'd need to switch to the 3 year course. Reason being maths was required. My current course is the only one where there is 0 math requirement. I think I'll be able to stick to my current course, for now. Or rather, as long as my grades stay up. Actually they *have* to stay up. Otherwise I wouldn't have time to switch over to the 3 year course since I'd only need 2 years to complete it, and the maths modules would take me a total of 3 semesters to do it. Highway to hell. Or maybe heaven. I don't know. Whatever....I'll tell you when I get there. ^^^ by Locksley @ 9:48 AM.
