[Random shorts...] Then once you start looking (after I told you I've had enough), you decide on a timing which didn't exist, and then a timing with no seats. I can't work like this. My ICT is next week. This is one of the few times I am not looking forward to the weekend. And I haven't accomplished something I wanted to do. All because of that idiot...I paid so much, the least he could do is to write the damn letter. ^^^ by Locksley @ 10:18 PM.

[Change you can believe in...] There's a lot more uncertainty in life now. Nothing's planned out. It all boils down to what you want in life and how you intend to achieve it. I haven't been working very long. Almost two years. In that time, a lot has changed, both at work and in my own life. More things have probably changed in the past almost-two years than the last ten years of my life. Nobody likes change. That's why there's this thing called "change management". Just as you're getting comfortable, the rug gets pulled from under you. I have a lot of balls in the air right now. There are possible changes in almost all aspects of my life right now. It hurts my head to think about it sometimes. Some of the changes are really up to me. What do I want? Sometimes I don't even know. I've been trying to put off all of them and concentrate on the immediate issue at hand. But it's hard. Every once in a while, one of them creeps back into my head and I wonder... When did life get so complicated? ^^^ by Locksley @ 9:01 PM.

[No football...] Why won't I be able to catch the matches? Reservist. So pissed. Another reason for me to hate NS. ^^^ by Locksley @ 12:23 AM.

[I don't understand...] How can people get by with saving so little? I'm saving about 60% of my take-home salary every month and I still don't see how am I going to be able to afford to "settle down". Am I missing something here? ^^^ by Locksley @ 9:34 PM.

[Credit card fail...] For example, I get $320 in cash-back every year from one of my cards, and four pairs of movie tickets from my other card. That works out to be about $400 a year. Totally worth a bit of "scheming". I'm a little upset right now because for one of my cards, I want to stop using it the moment it hits $800. I didn't keep a close enough watch on it this month and in all likelihood, the final bill will end up to be close to $1,000. This sucks, because whatever amounts above $800 will not go towards earning me any cash-back or points or anything. Aragh!!! ^^^ by Locksley @ 8:53 PM.

[My morning commute...] The service in the morning has been around for quite some time. The one in the evenings started relatively recently. I want to say something about the service in the mornings, as it's been around longer. When I first started working, the Express service in the morning was driven by this old uncle. He's probably near retirement age. He's a very good driver. He over-takes, he's fast, and he once challenged another driver to a one-on-one outside MINDEF (I'm absolutely serious). Then came this PRC woman. Can't remember much about her. I think she was okay. Except that she doesn't over-take much. Taking her bus saves me only about 5 minutes, unlike the 15-20 minutes before when insane uncle was driving. Now we have another PRC woman. When she first started, she didn't over-take neither. Now she's more daring and I'm able to save about 15 minutes when I take her bus. Just one problem. She has no idea how to accelerate or brake. She's okay when driving under normal conditions, but the moment she's stuck in a jam, the bus jerks to move and stop. Very annoying. It's hard to describe...But anyone who knows how to drive will probably notice how bad her acceleration and braking is once they're on the bus. Today, a woman threw up on the bus. I think it may have something to do with her driving style. The woman was probably already ill to begin with (everything she threw up was yellow) and sitting in those face-everyone-else seats probably didn't help. Pretty disgusting, still. I was seated near her. And I saw a half-flattened rat in the car-park before boarding the bus. Two gross sights within one hour after I left the house this morning. ^^^ by Locksley @ 9:03 PM.

[Football potato chips?] Now they've taken things too far. ![]() Football potato chips! ![]() This is too much! We are not friends. I have always maintained that it is impossible to get along with everyone you meet. Most of the time, it's nothing personal. Sometimes, personalities just clash. Nobody's right, and nobody's wrong. If you can't get along with one group of people, tough luck. If you can't get along with the next group, even tougher luck. If you can't get along with the third group... Then maybe it's you. You are always scolding someone on MSN. It's never you. It's always them. I don't recall there ever being a positive message next to your name. Perhaps you need to take a step back think about your life. Are you happy? Do you want to be happy? Where do you want to be? Where are you now? How are you going to get from where you are to where you want to be? If you don't change your life, you will die alone, surrounded by your probably-also-dead hamsters. Think about it. ^^^ by Locksley @ 8:39 PM.

[Random pictures...] ![]() First, for having the balls to wear such a gaudy shirt. Second, for wearing those shorts with legs that are so insanely pale. ![]() I took this picture last night in the car-park on my way home. Two girls saw me doing it...I had to turn on the flash so it was very obvious. They must think I'm crazy. Anyway...This is what happens to dumb animals who don't get out of the way when a car comes along. Darwinism at work? ^^^ by Locksley @ 5:41 PM.
