[Goodbye, old friend...] I ordered a new mattress on Sunday and it's coming tomorrow. Tonight's the last night I am sleeping on my old mattress. I do get attached to things, and it'll be sad to see my old mattress go.  Can't see the mattress under the bed-sheet, but well...I usually don't anyway. [Before the storm...]  I can't wait for the rain to get here. It's been blistering hot and there's a lot of joss paper burning going on. The rain will get rid of the smell. Actually, I was thinking, they are burning joss paper due to Vesak Day. Vesak Day is observed by Buddhists, and Buddhists are not supposed to burn joss paper, which happens to be a Taoist practice. [I did it...] In other news, I watched Avengers today. Awesome movie. Joss Whedon has outdone himself, and he's set the bar pretty high for such genres in the future. I liked how they tied in stories from previous Marvel movies. I liked how every character got their due on-screen time. I'd be willing to pay more than what I did in order to catch this movie. Broken for now. :( If anyone knows of a good way to display tweets without using Twitter's awful looking widgets, please let me know. Preferably something that allows me to retrieve my tweets in plain-text format.
