[The reaper returns...]

It's been a long time since this happened, but the fishes in my tank are dying one by one again. There's been at least one death in the main tank everyday, and around 2 everyday for the breeder tank. This blows. I hope the situation gets better soon.

Going back to camp tomorrow for ACCT. Crap...Everyone else's already passed. It's just me it seems....

[That was fast...]

I received a call this afternoon from the HR manager of Chass. I was offered the sales job I applied for, so yay me. Kinda apprehensive, since the staff turnover rate in that department is high.

[Click clock click clock....]

Went for my second interview at Chass today. On my way there, I had to use this underpass with escalators for stairs. The upwards riding one's working fine, but they turned off the downward riding one. So I was stuck on the stairs going down, with lots of office girls in their heels going "cluck cluck cluck". And the tunnel-like structure of the underpass made the noise even louder, driving me crazy.

The interview went ok...I don't think I did very well, we'll have to wait and see.

[Days of thunder...]

It's been a tiring couple of days. First up, did guard duty on Friday. Didn't rest much on Sat, as I attended my cousin's wedding. After it was over, had to rest back to camp as we were leaving at 3am for AHM.

I'm still dazed....

[What's wrong with the world?]

I remember back when I was in secondary school. Songs on the radio at that time were mostly about love. Sappy love songs by boybands, or just a single male or female singer, or whatever. Those days, parents didn't have to worry about what their kids were listening to.

Fast forward to present time. Rap and hip-hop are in. First of all, rap isn't music. Rap is noise. Okay, so there are a few exceptions, but mostly, rap and hip-hop are crap. We have "songs" about violence, about hate, about race, and about girls getting low and licking sweat off somebody's balls. I mean, seriously....

Where is the love?

[Close call...]

Last night's EPL match between Bolton and Man United sure was...Boring. Yeah, boring. United, to be quite honest, sucked. It was 1-1 till 90 mins, before Bolton scored again to make it 2-1. And during the last play of the game, United managed to push the ball into Bolton's net in a mad scramble. 2-2. It doesn't get any closer than that. If United continues playing this way, they'll never get their trophy back.

On a less pleasant note.....There is guy who managed to piss me off 2 mornings running. Note to him: Get a hose, screw one end to a tap, the other into your ass. Go nuts.

[A new home...]

Bought a new, bigger tank today, with a stand. Was quite a deal...With light and filter too. I left it to run for a while with just 2 guppies to see if there's any toxic substances inside. I've just emptied out the old tank and put all the fishes into the new one. If they survive the night, all should be fine.

[Bunch of stuff...]

My back's still killing me from moving the cupboards and beds on Tuesday. Went to see a doctor today, and he gave me a week's excuse.

Went for a 18km run yesterday. Ended up with blisters on every toe on my right foot. Back was killing me the whole time.

This just occurred to me...Why do people say "it's always in the last place you look"? I mean, of course it is....Why would you keep on looking after you've found it? Also, what about "we'll cross that bridge when we come to it"? How else would you cross the bridge? I mean, you certainly can't cross it before you come to it, can you?

[A new location...]

Shifted camp on Tuesday. Almost broke my back, but it was worth it. The new camp is a tad harder to get to, but everything's new, clean, and big! I was most impressed with the toilets. The whole platoon can bathe in there at the same time!

[Really uncool people...]

Recently I've noticed a lot of people walking around with a bluetooth headset in their ear. Personally, I think that's dumb. Is that supposed to be cool? Cause to be honest, you guys look damn lame. Get rid of the headset...Or lose your ears.
