[Expectations...]

I guess I expected better from a company of this size. This isn't some kachang puteh SME we're talking about.

Key policies are not put in place. For those that are, half of them are not clear. Half the people are incompetent. Work processes make no sense and does not help in getting work done.

I expected better.

But still. There is not much I can do right now. I need to stick it out. At least for now. The coming months will be very challenging. Hopefully I can ride this out. I guess whatever doesn't kill me will make me stronger.

Also,
"Nietzsche famously said "Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger." But what he failed to stress is that it almost kills you. Disappointment stings and, for driven, successful people like yourselves it is disorienting. What Nietzsche should have said is "Whatever doesn't kill you, makes you watch a lot of Cartoon Network and drink mid-price Chardonnay at 11 in the morning." "
