[Safety feature? No thanks...]

Saw this in the papers yesterday:

An Audi advertisement. They have one every week in Life! on Saturday. What caught my eye was this:

It looks like a button for turning the passenger airbag off. What a weird feature. Why would anyone ever want to turn off the airbags? And just the passenger one, for that matter. Is this the car a guy should get if he is thinking of staging an "accident"?

Saw this guy at Funan's food court:

At first I thought he was weird. Why would anyone use the laptop at that angle? But after thinking about it, I realise he's a genius.

He probably doesn't have a privacy screen and doesn't want people around him to see what he's doing on the laptop. Hence he angled the screen in that manner.

Of course, that raises another question. If you don't want strangers to know what you're doing on your laptop, why use it at a public place to begin with?

maybe... maybe thats not a button but an indicator light that something is wrong with the pass air bag?
Then how come there isn't one to indicate for the driver's airbag? And anyway, I think the warning lights are mostly on the dashboard right? Stuff outside are more for "pressing"...
And it's a bad design too. The hazard light switch is just on top of it. If the driver really wants to disable the passenger's airbags, he would probably want to do so discreetly and not in front of the passenger. Hahaha!
