[The chronicles of Locksley...]

Time really flies. It's been more than nine months since I started work with my employer. I've been exposed to more things in recent months and let's just say the true picture of things is starting to develop. It has its highs and lows. The past few days hasn't been all that smooth-sailing for me. My horoscope in the papers today totally freaked me out because it's almost like the stars know my pain (?) and are telling me what to do.

One word to describe the IT security measures at my workplace: Retarded. Two words to describe the IT security measures in the future: Fucking retarded. I know what's coming. I know who's pushing for it. I know who's in charge. This guy needs to go back to school. This guy needs to buy a car, for fuck's sake.

My vision is fluctuating like crazy. Earlier this week, I had no trouble with reading or using the computer. For the past two days, it was blurry in the morning, up until sometime in the afternoon.

Words at a distance are still blurry for me. I'm talking about maybe...2 metres away? It's hard to see the bus numbers, impossible to read road signs (until I'm close to them and by then it's usually too late...good thing I don't drive...yet), but everything else is okay. Just a little blurry. In fact, things are a little blurry now as I type this...

Dry eyes are less of an issue now. I think I bought too many bottles of eye-drops.
