[Stop taking my stuff!]

There's a stationery cupboard in my workplace that's filled with enough office stationery to start a small stationery shop. I can't believe I just used the word "stationery" thrice in one sentence.

Anyway, most of the things in there are pretty standard stuff. Except for pens and liquid paper. The liquid paper they bought is the cheap, shitty type. I've never tried it, to be fair, but it doesn't look promising.

The pens they provided, are shit. Lousy ball-point pens. As with all lousy ball-point pens, the ink isn't smooth and it doesn't start writing immediately. Chances are, you need to doodle on some scrap paper to get the ink flowing before you can start writing. For that reason, I brought along my own pens. Gel-inked, so they start writing the first time, every time.

My supervisor, who doesn't have a fixed cubicle (long story), usually alternates being either at my cubicle or my colleague's. In the course of our discussions, he will sometimes just pick up any pen that's lying around, use it, and then leave with it.

When I first started out, he took one of my gel-inked pens. I wasn't too annoyed...Because that pen was running out of ink anyway. Yesterday, he took another one. A new one.

%$@#%@@!$

And before you tell me to not leave my pens lying around...I only had one pen on my table. I have mild OCD (pretty sure of this), so believe me, there's no way in hell would I leave a whole bunch of pens on my table for no good reason. I take out one pen, everyday, and put it on my table. Just one.

Anyway, I won't be using my own pens anymore. From now all, it's cheap, shitty, free office ball-point pens for me.

Use a piece of twine and tie your pen to your cubicle. =D
