[Crazy Singaporeans...]

I'm sure everyone has heard, read, or seen the news by now. Some guy jumped into the tiger enclosure at the zoo and got mauled to death.

In the days since then, Singaporeans have exhibited the most illogical thought processes ever. Letters published in the ST Forum (both offline and online) have asked for donations for the man's family, for the zoo to fly the man's family over, why wasn't the zoo's shooters there earlier, why wasn't there more effective means to distract the tigers (umbrellas and dustbin lids were thrown, apparently), etc etc.

Who the fuck cares? It's not as if the man fell into the enclosure by accident. He climbed over and jumped it. Basically, he committed suicide. Why are we even talking about this?

You wouldn't even give up your seats to someone who "needs it more" (I used the quotes because I don't believe in giving up seats...but that's a whole other issue altogether), but now you are campaigning for a man who was committed suicide.

Get some perspective, people.
